An individual’s management style refers to the approaches by which the manager takes to establish and pursue organizational goals and objectives. Managerial styles could be different from person to person, which is why two different public managers might not achieve the same results even if they were given similar resources. In this analysis, the managerial styles of Williams and Barry are evaluated in their approach to lead the Washington D.C. city government. The two individuals occupied the same office at different times and achieved different results based on the kind of managerial styles being used.
